With 250 kilometres of coastline, the Costa Cálida is one of the longest coasts in south-eastern Spain. Its white sandy beaches periodically give way to stunning bays and spectacular rocky outcrops. The Costa Cálida is located in the Murcia region and literally means ‘warm coast’, a name that it has rightfully earned. Costa Cálida also boasts one of Spain’s most beautiful areas: the Mar Menor. This lagoon is located near Murcia, separated from the Mediterranean Sea by a strip of land called ‘La Manga del Mar Menor’.

There are plenty of lush natural areas for lovers of the great outdoors, but Costa Cálida is also a paradise for water sports fanatics. The Mar Menor is always a few degrees warmer than the Mediterranean Sea, so you can take advantage of that by sailing, water skiing or jet skiing to your heart’s content.
