Close to La Manga del Mar Menor you will find Cabo de Palos, a headland with lovely bays for a pleasant dip in the Mediterranean Sea. The local lighthouse dates from 1862 and is literally and figuratively a highlight.

La Manga del Mar Menor is the ideal destination in Spain if you want to enjoy good weather conditions. The winters are mild and pleasant. Summers are warm with temperatures easily exceeding 30 degrees. But if that little bit of a good thing is too much for you, there is always the Mediterranean Sea and a breeze to provide the necessary cooling.
